Ian Wright has warned Chelsea FC that Manchester City, Liverpool FC and Manchester United will only get stronger next season.

The defending Premier League champions have endured a disappointing second seasons under Antonio Conte.

The Italian head coach guided Chelsea FC to Premier League title glory last term after the Blues finished seven points clear of Spurs.

Chelsea FC are in fifth place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of Tottenham Hotspur, who occupy the final Champions League spot.

The Blues are a staggering 28 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City despite winning the title with two games to spare last term.

Manchester United and Liverpool FC hold a commanding lead over Chelsea FC in the race to finish in the top four.

Former Arsenal striker Wright believes Chelsea FC could be in trouble next term with their rivals all set to strengthen in the summer.

“I worry for Chelsea at the moment,” Wright told Sky Sports.

“The emergence of Man City. Man United and Liverpool are going to do more. I worry for Chelsea and Arsenal.”

Chelsea FC signed England international Ross Barkley, AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.

The Blues could still win the FA Cup this season if the west London side manage to beat Southampton and reach the competition’s showpiece at Wembley.
