Gary Neville has warned Antonio Conte that Chelsea FC striker Alvaro Morata needs more support.

The Spain international moved to Chelsea FC in a £58m deal from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Morata made a strong start to his career after the Spanish centre-forward scored eight times in his opening seven games.

The 25-year-old has struggled over the past few months and has only managed to score two goals in his last 15 outings.

The Chelsea FC star scored the opening goal in the west London side’s 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend.

While Morata got on the score sheet, the Spanish forward struggled to have a big impact on the London derby.

Former Manchester United star Neville believes Morata needs to have more support from his team-mates to perform.

“Morata is a striker who needs runners past him or near to him,” Neville told Sky Sports.

Chelsea FC finished top of the Premier League table last season after the Blues ended up seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues lost 4-1 to La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 last month.

Chelsea FC haven’t won the Champions League title since 2012 when the Blues beat Bayern Munich on penalties.
