Ian Wright is backing Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur to finish ahead of Chelsea FC in the top-four race.

The Reds came from behind to secure a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park courtesy of Mohamed Salah’s late winner.

The Merseyside outfit are in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur did Liverpool FC a big favour last weekend after Spurs ended their 18-year winless run at Stamford Bridge.

Goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli helped to secure a 3-1 win against Chelsea FC in west London.

The Blues are in fifth place and eight points adrift of Tottenham, who currently occupy the final Champions League spot.

Former Arsenal striker Wright is believes the top four will finish as it currently stands.

“The top four, for me, is sorted [as it is now],” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Liverpool FC are looking to secure a top-four finish in successive seasons under former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

Tottenham have played one game less than Liverpool FC in the Premier League.

Spurs lost to Serie A giants Juventus in the Champions League round of 16 to miss out on a place in the quarter-finals.
