Antonio Conte has told Tottenham that his Chelsea FC team will do everything that they can to try and finish in the top four this season.

The Blues boosted their faint hopes of securing qualification for the Champions League by sealing a 1-0 win at Swansea City on Saturday thanks to Cesc Fabregas’ goal.

The win left Chelsea FC two points behind Tottenham in the race for a top-four finish, although the Lilywhites play their game in hand against Watford at Wembley on Monday night.

Chelsea FC now have three games left to play as they bid to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.

And Conte is confident that his side will give everything possible to try and break back into the Champions League spots in the next few weeks.

Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday, Blues boss Conte said: “For sure the situation is not in our hands but the only way to put a little pressure on Tottenham is to get three points in every game.

“It won’t be easy. They play against Watford on Monday but in football it is not simple to win the game, especially in this league.

“But for sure the situation is not in our hands at this moment.”

Chelsea FC are aiming to win the FA Cup this season and they will take on Manchester United in the final at Wembley next month.

The Blues won the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge last season and also reached the FA Cup final, where they were beaten by Arsenal.
