Eden Hazard has admitted that he doesn’t feel that he has performed well for Chelsea FC for the last two months.

The Blues have struggled to produce consistent displays this season after having won the Premier League title in style last term.

Hazard missed the start of the season with an ankle injury but returned to find his form in the opening months of the campaign.

Chelsea FC are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table and looking as though they are going to miss out on Champions League qualification for next season.

Hazard has scored 12 goals and made three assists in the Premier League for the west London side so far this season.

However, the 27-year-old feels that he has not yet hit top gear for the Blues, especially over the last few months.

Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “It’s not been so good, no. I was injured at the start of the season and it was not easy to come back after that.

“I then played the first two months of the season really well, but when the team needed me in the game against Barca in the Champions League I didn’t perform well.

“I don’t think I have played well for the last two months.”

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action next weekend when they travel to Swansea City.

The Blues will still be harbouring hopes of somehow breaking back into the top four before the season is out, despite being five points behind Tottenham with just four games left to play.

Chelsea FC were knocked out of the Champions League by FC Barcelona earlier this month.
