The west London side found themselves 2-0 down in the second half at St Mary’s before Giroud came off the bench to help Antonio Conte’s men claim the three points.
Giroud pulled one back before Hazard netted a second to level the game, and the former Arsenal star then scored the winner for Conte’s men to hand them a much-needed victory.
The result still left Chelsea FC in fifth place in the Premier League table and with their hopes of finishing in the top four this season looking slim.
But Hazard was clearly grateful to January signing Giroud after the Blues managed to claim an important victory at St Mary’s on Saturday.
Hazard posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Great comeback team, onto the next game! Thank you to the incredible away fans, and Olivier! 💪🏼#CFC.”
Chelsea FC will now switch their attentions towards FA Cup affairs and their crunch clash against Southampton in the semi-finals at Wembley on Sunday.
The Blues are aiming to at least win the FA Cup this season in what has been a largely disappointing campaign for Conte’s men this term.
