Chelsea FC are among the clubs interested in signing Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is reporting that the west London club are “on alert” after the striker was offered to a host of Europe’s top clubs this summer.

According to the same story, Lewandowski’s representatives are sounding out a host of top clubs as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.

The same report says that Chelsea FC will definitely be in the market for a new striker this summer because Alvaro Morata’s long-term future at the club is in doubt.

However, Chelsea FC could face competition from the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool FC for the signature of Lewandowski this summer, according to the same story.

The 29-year-old striker has scored 27 goals and made one assist in 27 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich so far this season.

He has also netted five times in the Champions League to help his club set up a semi-final showdown against Real Madrid later this month.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their FA Cup semi-final clash this weekend as they take on Southampton at Wembley.
