Cesc Fabregas has warned Liverpool FC and Tottenham that he and his Chelsea FC team-mates will be doing everything they can to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.

Fabregas scored the only goal of the game for the Blues as he helped Chelsea FC notch up their third straight win on the bounce with a 1-0 victory at Swansea City on Saturday lunchtime.

The result leaves Chelsea FC in fifth place in the table but just two points behind Tottenham and six behind Liverpool FC as the race for Champions League qualification hots up.

Tottenham will take on Watford at Wembley on Monday night as they look to claim the three points and continue their push towards Champions League qualification.

And Fabregas, 30, has warned Chelsea FC’s top four rivals that they will be fighting until the end of the season for their spot in the Champions League places.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday evening, Fabregas said: “Everyone is fighting for their lives and every game is a final.

“We have to show our pride and put pressure on [Liverpool and Spurs].

“In football, anything can happen, and so if it happens, we must be there to take advantage.”

Chelsea FC will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final next month as they look to try and end the season with a trophy.
