Eden Hazard has insisted that he is excited about Chelsea FC having been pitted against Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

The Blues booked their place in the showpiece at Wembley thanks to a 2-0 victory over Southampton in the semi-final clash on Sunday.

Hazard was voted as the man of the match as he helped to inspire the west London side to victory with a sparkling display at Wembley.

Manchester United, meanwhile, booked their place in the final when they came from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the other semi-final on Saturday.

The stage is now set for an enthralling FA Cup final at Wembley as both Manchester United and Chelsea FC battle it out for their last remaining hope of winning a trophy this season.

And the 27-year-old Hazard has admitted that he is thrilled about the prospect of Chelsea FC taking on the Red Devils in the final next month.

Speaking to BT Sport after Sunday’s game, Hazard said: “I think it’s good.

“It’s always good to play against them. We won one and they won at Old Trafford. The final will be very good for this kind of game.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC will now return to Premier League action as they prepare to take on Swansea City in the top flight on Saturday evening.

The Blues are still hoping to catch Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Champions League qualification this season.
