Victor Moses has insisted that Chelsea FC have not given up hope of finishing in the top four this season.

The Blues kept their faint hopes of Champions League qualification alive on Thursday night when they sealed a 2-1 win over Burnley to close the gap to fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur down to four points.

Chelsea FC will now be looking to win their remaining four games and hope that Tottenham slip up as they look to finish in the top four ahead of their London rivals.

Given their position, Spurs are clearly the favourites to finish in the top four ahead of Chelsea FC this season, but Moses seems to be confident that the Blues will be able to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season.

Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website after the win over Burnley, Nigeria international Moses said: “Hopefully we can keep doing well until the end of the season.

“We believe in the players we have got collectively and individually. We can’t write ourselves off.”

Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their FA Cup semi-final clash against Southampton at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues reached the final last season but ended up being beaten by Arsenal at Wembley as they missed out on a domestic double in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club.
