The Italian coach’s situation at the west London side has been a constant source of speculation in recent months amid suggestions that he could be set to quit the west London club.
Conte let Chelsea FC to the Premier League title in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge last season but the Blues have struggled to produce consistent form this time around.
Zappacosta has been settling into life at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the Blues in the summer transfer window last year.
And the Blues defender has admitted that he is desperate to see his compatriot stay at Chelsea FC beyond the summer.
Zappacosta is quoted as saying by the Daily Star: “He is a good coach because he is a football teacher and makes you play in a good way. He gives you advice to make sure you are in exactly the right way on the pitch.
“He is able to give you strength of character. The coach is really important, he always tries to work the best way for the team.
“Since the start of the year, he has been working in a really good way for Chelsea and he is preparing for this part of the season.
“He is focused on Chelsea and his objective is to keep winning with us. He must stay.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action next weekend when they host bitter local rivals West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.
Conte is bidding to try and guide the Blues back into the Champions League spots for next season, with Chelsea FC currently outside the top four places in the Premier League.
Chelsea FC will then take on Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley later in the month.
