The Blues started the game strongly and took the lead in the 30th minute when Alvaro Morata headed home from close range.
However, Christian Eriksen levelled the game before the break with a brilliant long-range effort which dipped under the crossbar.
Dele Alli then scored twice in four second-half minutes to wrap up all three points for the visitors and deal a serious blow to Chelsea FC’s hopes of finishing in the top four.
The result leaves Chelsea FC fifth in the table and eight points behind the Lilywhites with only seven games left to play this season.
And former Manchester United defender Neville admits that Chelsea FC now face a serious uphill struggle in trying to break back into the top four this season.
Speaking during Sky Sports‘ coverage of the game, Neville said: “This puts massive pressure on Chelsea in terms of the Premier League and getting into the Champions League places.
“They’ve become detached now really.”
He added: “It was a pretty good first half Chelsea but that will get lost in the result.”
Chelsea FC are still aiming to try and win the FA Cup this season, with the Blues taking on Southampton in the semi-finals at Wembley later this month.
The west London side return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Ham next weekend.
