Jamie Redknapp believes Eden Hazard will be capable of firing Chelsea FC to victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues will welcome their north London rivals to Stamford Bridge this weekend in search of a vital win in the context of the top-four race.

Chelsea FC are in fifth place in the Premier League table and five points adrift of Spurs, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.

The Blues were 2-1 winners against Tottenham at Wembley in the second Premier League games of the 2017-18 season.

Hazard missed the top-flight clash as Marcos Alonso scored twice to secure three points for the defending Premier League champions.

The Chelsea FC number 10 has scored 11 times and has made three assists in 25 appearances in the Premier League this term.

Former Tottenham captain Redknapp believes Chelsea FC’s best hope of beating Tottenham lies with Hazard.

“Chelsea have Eden Hazard fit and on form,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

“He was missing from Chelsea’s win at Wembley over Spurs back in August and has the ability to turn the game in their favour on his own.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after finishing seven points clear of runners up Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues will take on Premier League rivals Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley this month.

Chelsea FC signed Ross Barkley, Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.
