Chelsea FC are set to battle both Manchester United and Manchester City for the signature of Eder Militao from Sao Paulo, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Blues are keen to try and bring the 20-year-old wonderkid to the Premier League and are willing to splash the cash in order land their target.
The same report says that Chelsea FC are planning to totally “overhaul” their squad at the end of the season and Militao has emerged as one of their top targets.
According to the same story, Militao is valued at around £20m and it is his versatility which makes him such a prime target for the west London club.
However, it would seem that Chelsea FC are likely to face fierce competition for Militao’s signature.
According to the report, both Manchester clubs are interested in the youngster, along with Borussia Dortmund and Porto.
Chelsea FC returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime when they claimed a 3-2 win over Southampton after coming from two goals down against the Saints.
The west London side will return to FA Cup action when they take on Southampton in the semi-finals next weekend.
