Website Football.London is reporting that the defending Premier League champions are to make drastic changes to their squad at the end of a disappointing season.
The same article states that Chelsea FC owner Abramovich is planning to give the Blues squad a facelift less than 12 months after their title success under Antonio Conte.
Chelsea FC are in fifth place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of Tottenham Hotspur in the race to secure a Champions League spot for next term.
The report goes on to list Gary Cahill, Marcos Alonso, David Luiz, Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season.
While Chelsea FC supporters won’t be surprised to see Cahill, Luiz or Fabregas head for the exit door, most Blues fans would surely be reluctant to lose key players such as Alonso, Courtois and Hazard.
The west London side can still finish the 2017-18 season with some silverware if Chelsea FC beat Southampton and reach the FA Cup final.
