The Blues are looking to get back to winning ways following the disappointment of a 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Spurs ended their 28-year winless run at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli in west London.
Chelsea FC are in fifth place and eight points behind their London rivals in the race to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.
The Blues have lost seven of their last 13 games in all competitions to heap further pressure on Italian head coach Antonio Conte.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Chelsea FC to beat relegation candidates West Ham to put Tottenham under some pressure.
“Chelsea were no match for Spurs in a cracking London derby last weekend but I fully expect them to bounce back against a West Ham side who won their vital home game against Saints last weekend,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Chelsea have lost five of their last seven league games but they still have the FA Cup to play for this season, although it does look as if they will miss out on a place in the Champions League next term.
“The Blues are unbeaten in their last 11 home Premier League games with West Ham and I expect Antonio Conte’s side to keep the points with a comfortable home win.”
Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after the Blues finished seven points ahead of their closest rivals Spurs.
The Blues lost 4-1 to La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 to end Conte’s hopes of winning the tournament for the first time.
The west London side signed Ross Barkley, Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.
