Paul Ince believes Liverpool FC will ease to a 3-0 win against Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday morning.

The Reds will make the short trip across Stanley Park to take on their bitter rivals less than 72 hours after their Champions League heroics mid-week.

Liverpool FC were 3-0 winners against Premier League leaders Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane helped the Merseyside outfit tomsecure a commanding first-leg lead.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will make the short trip to Manchester City mid-week looking to secure their place in the Champions League semi-finals.

Liverpool FC were 2-1 winners against Everton in their last clash in the FA Cup third round back in January thanks to Virgil van Dijk’s winner.

Former Liverpool FC midfielder Ince is backing the Reds to ease to a 3-0 win in successive games at Everton on Saturday morning.

“I know that this is a Merseyside derby, and that it’s a huge game for both sides,” Ince told the Daily Express.

“I appreciate that Everton should play a bit better than they did against Man City… But seeing Liverpool on Tuesday in the Champions League, I cannot see them coming close. It’ll be another battering from the Red men I reckon.”

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence.

The Reds were 5-0 aggregate winners against Portuguese giants FC Porto in the round of 16 to set up a quarter-final meeting with Manchester City.
