The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 24-year-old in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho considers bolstering his rearguard options at Old Trafford.
Mourinho is thought to be keen on signing the France international this summer as he looks to strengthen his defence and assemble a team capable of winning the title next season.
Umtiti is thought to have a release clause of just £53m in his contract, with FC Barcelona keen to tie him down to a new deal.
Now, the defender himself has openly revealed that Manchester United are not the only club apparently interested in his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
Umtiti told Canal FC, as quoted by Metro: “It’s not only Manchester United, other clubs want me as well, but my sole focus is on Barcelona.
“Negotiations for a contract renewal have not started yet. My release clause is low, but that’s not what I worry about, I focus on the pitch.”
He also appeared to play down the prospect of a move away from FC Barcelona this summer by insisting that he is very happy at the Spanish claub.
He added: “It was my dream to play at Baraa. And I achieved it when I was just 22. I’m very happy here, whenever I play and whenever I train.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United will return to Premier League action on Saturday night when they take on Manchester City at The Etihad and look to prevent them from winning the title.
