The Daily Star is reporting that the England midfielder has come to terms with the fact that he is set to end his 17-year spell with his boyhood club at the end of the current campaign.
The same story says that Wilshere has no intention of signing the £80,000 a week contract currently on offer to the 26-year-old – and that means he is set to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The midfielder has reportedly told friends that he doesn’t expect Arsenal to make him a better offer to keep him at The Emirates beyond the end of this season.
The same article says that Everton are among the Premier League clubs interested in signing Wilshere as the summer transfer window draws nearer.
The story also reports that Wilshere is well aware of the fact that he will be able to command a significant signing on fee by joining another club, and also attract much better wages than what is on offer at The Emirates.
Arsenal are at home to West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday.
