Jurgen Klopp provides latest Liverpool FC injury update on Mohamed Salah
The Liverpool FC manager confirms Mohamed Salah is available for Saturday's trip to West Brom
Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Mohamed Salah is injury free ahead of Liverpool FC’s trip to West Brom on Saturday ahead of their Champions League semi-final against AS Roma next week.
The Egypt international has emerged as Liverpool FC’s key player in the 2017-18 season following his £39m switch to the Anfield outfit from Serie A giants AS Roma last summer.
Salah scored on his Liverpool FC league debut in a 3-3 draw at Watford in the opening fixture of the top-flight campaign to hit the ground running in England.
The African footballer of the year has gone on to score 30 times in 32 games in the Premier League, while Salah has netted nine goals in Liverpool FC’s run to the Champions League semi-finals.
The 25-year-old was forced off with an injury problem in a 3-0 win against Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final before he sat out their goalless stalemate with Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Liverpool FC will take on 20th-placed West Brom on Saturday morning three days before Salah and his Reds team-mates take on his former club AS Roma in the first leg of the Champions League last-four tie at Anfield.
Speaking at his pre-match media conference about Salah’s fitness ahead of their Champions League semi-final, Klopp said:
“[Mo has] no physical problems in the moment and hopefully it stays like this, that’s what we need.
“We need the boys for all the games. I know that the next question will be around line-up and selection for West Brom because Roma is coming afterwards, but we never did it like that.”
