Jamie Redknapp has heaped praise on Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah for his devastating performances this weekend.

The Reds signed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.

The African forward opened his Liverpool FC account with a goal in a 3-3 draw with Watford on the opening day of the season.

Salah has gone on to score another 28 goals in the Premier League to sit at the top of the division’s goal-scoring charts.

The 25-year-old has also netted eight times in the Champions League to help Jurgen Klopp’s side reach the last eight.

Only Manchester City have scored more goals than Liverpool FC in the Premier League this term.

Former Liverpool FC midfielder Redknapp believes Salah has helped to create a devastating attack at Anfield.

“He causes panic and fear in defences,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

The Reds signed Virgil van Dijk in a £75m deal from Southampton in the January transfer window.

Liverpool FC were 5-0 winners against Portuguese side FC Porto in the Champions League round of 16.

Salah broke the deadlock in Liverpool FC’s thrilling 3-0 victory over Premier League leaders Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
