The Egypt international moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m move from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Salah has been a revelation in the Premier League despite a disappointing eight-month stint at Chelsea FC in 2014.
The 25-year-old has scored 31 goals in 33 games in the Premier League this term to help Liverpool FC secure a spot in the top four.
Indeed, Salah was named the PFA player of the year award ahead of Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne last weekend following his outstanding performances in the Premier League.
The African forward has also netted 11 times in 13 games in the Champions League, including two goals in a 5-2 win against his former club AS Roma in the first leg of their semi-final at Anfield.
Former Chelsea FC star Lampard believes Salah deserves to be talked about alongside Messi and Ronaldo following his prolific campaign.
“Individually, what he’s brought to this club this year… he deserves every single accolade,” Lampard told BT Sport.
“He’s put himself up there with the very best. I’m not comparing him to Ronaldo and Messi, but he is certainly put himself up towards that bracket. If he continues this form, we will come to talk about him like that.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League.
