The Egypt international moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m deal from AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Salah arrived at the Anfield outfit following a difficult eight-month spell at Chelsea FC in 2014.
However, the 25-year-old has scored 29 goals in 31 games in the Premier League in the current campaign.
Salah netted in Liverpool FC’s 2-1 win against Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.
The African forward has netted eight times in nine games in the Champions League this season to help the Reds reach the last four.
The former Fiorentina winger is sitting at the top of the goal-scoring charts ahead of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Ex-Liverpool FC striker Owen lavished praise on Salah for his outstanding performances in his debut season at the Anfield outfit.
“Mo Salah has scored in 21 Premier League games so far this season and is one goal from becoming just the eighth player in the history of the competition to score 30 league goals in a season,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Seventeen of those goals have come at Anfield but his midweek goal at the Etihad again showed just what a great player he is.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a return to the Champions League.
The Reds signed Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk in a club record £75m deal from Southampton in the January transfer window.
Klopp’s side were 5-1 aggregate winners against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals.
