The Reds have been in fine form in recent weeks and have been earning plenty of praise for their strong performances under Jurgen Klopp this season.
Liverpool FC produced two brilliant performances as they secured a 5-1 aggregate win over Manchester City to book their place in the Champions League semi-finals this month.
The Merseyside outfit are through to the last four of Europe’s elite club competition for the first time in a decade and they will be aiming to go all the way this season.
And former Liverpool FC star Lawrenson seems to think that the Reds do have a big chance of being able to reach the final and win this term.
Speaking to Irish radio station Newstalk, Lawrenson said: “I think they can win it.
“If they draw Real Madrid, Bale and Ronaldo could switch on for 30 minutes and you’re out.
“[But] none of the teams will want to play Liverpool. They have the best [front] three in Europe.”
Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their home clash against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday night.
The Reds are in third place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and finish in the top four and secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Liverpool FC are yet to win their first trophy under Klopp since his appointment at Anfield back in October 2016.
