The England midfielder was in fine form for the Reds on Saturday at Goodison Park and was one of their biggest threats in the derby clash.
Milner has been in good form for the Merseyside outfit this season and has been a consistent performer for Klopp.
He has started 14 games in the Premier League for the Reds this season and has managed to notch up three assists for his team-mates.
Milner was also in good form as he notched up an assist in Liverpool FC’s dominant 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals last week.
Sadio Mane was in solid form for the Reds at Goodison Park as well on Saturday, and Klopp was delighted by both players’ displays.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday, Klopp said: “I thought Millie played quite well today and in a normal game without seven days before and seven days after, we would never think about getting him off in this game.
“Sadio was a threat, especially in the first half and did really well. I like that the boys really did it in a smart way and they didn’t get involved in any fights.
“I can’t really remember any harsh challenges from one or the other side, which I think is very important. So, a point, one point more, all OK.”
Both Milner and Mane will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds take on Manchester City in the crunch return leg of their Champions League clash on Tuesday night.
The Reds are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and finish in the top four for the second campaign running.
