Klopp instructs Liverpool FC to make Argentina star their first summer signing – report
Liverpool FC could sign Paulo Dybala as Philippe Coutinho's replacement, according to reports
Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool FC to make signing Paolo Dybala from Juventus their main priority in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Mediaset Premium, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are targeting the Argentina attacker this summer as they look for a long-term replacement for Philippe Coutinho at Anfield.
Liverpool FC chose to cash in on Coutinho in the January transfer window as they raked in a big-money fee after agreeing to sell to FC Barcelona.
According to the same report, Klopp has now requested that Liverpool FC make a move to sign Dybala from Juventus this summer.
However, the same story also says that Liverpool FC could end up having to shell out as much as £110m to sign Dybala this summer.
And there is reportedly a growing sense that Juventus could be willing to let Dybala leave this summer.
Dybala is widely regarded as one of European football’s top attacking talents and he has been in fine form for Juventus this season.
Indeed, the 24-year-old has scored 21 goals and made four assists in Serie A for Juventus so far this season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are preparing to take on Manchester City at The Etihad in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
