Salah has been one of European football’s top performing players this season following his move to Anfield from AS Roma in the summer transfer window last year.
The Egypt international was once again on target on Saturday afternoon as he netted the Reds’ second goal to help Liverpool FC wrap up a 3-0 win over Bournemouth.
Salah has now scored a staggering 40 goals in all competitions for Klopp’s men to help them up into third place in the Premier League table and to the Champions League semi-finals.
The 25-year-old will be hoping to win the Premier League golden boot this season.
And Klopp has admitted his delight at how Salah has been performing for the Reds this season.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday, Klopp said: “He was very often in good situations and in the end he scored one goal.
“It’s all about him and all about us, how we finish the season.
“It’s completely normal that a boy in that situation wants to be top of the scoring list, the Golden Boot.
“We will not be in his way. But we cannot force it; so, pass, shoot, pass, shoot, that’s the normal thing to do.
“It’s good and impressive – what a number, wow! And what a number we scored as a team in the whole season, that’s crazy. That’s really good but we have to carry on, there are a few games to come.”
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action next weekend when they take on West Bromwich Albion.
The Reds are currently third in the table as they bid to try and finish in the top four and secure their place in next season’s Champions League.
