The 25-year-old attacker has been earning huge amounts of praise for his strong performances for the Reds in recent weeks after having made an incredible start to life at Anfield after signing for the Reds from AS Roma last summer.
Salah netted his 29th goal of the season in the Premier League on Saturday as he helped Liverpool FC to come from a goal down to earn a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
He has also notched up 10 assists in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men so far this season to leave him as one of the standout players in the Premier League this term.
Van Dijk has been getting used to playing alongside Salah since his move to Anfield from Southampton in the January transfer window.
And the Netherlands defender has revealed his delight at how well Salah has been performing for Jurgen Klopp’s men in recent weeks.
Van Dijk told Sky Sports: “He’s that kind of player that you just need to be on your best. When he is 100 per cent and in the zone then he can beat anyone.
“There are ways to stop him but I’m not going to tell you because I don’t want our opponents to think about it.”
Liverpool FC will now switch their attentions towards their crunch Champions League showdown with Manchester City at Anfield on Wednesday night in the first leg of their quarter-final clash.
