Liverpool FC to offer 25-year-old £145,000 a week contract – report
Liverpool FC are ready to offer Mohamed Salah a new contract worth £145,000 a week, say reports
Liverpool FC are ready to offer Mohamed Salah a new contract worth £145,000 a week to end the questions about his future at the club, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Reds are set to open talks with the Egypt international about a new deal at Anfield following his sparkling debut campaign at the Merseyside club.
Salah is said to earn around £90,000 a week at Anfield and could be set to double his wages at the club following his fine season.
The 25-year-old has been one of European football’s top performing players since his move to Anfield from AS Roma last summer.
He has scored 43 goals in all competitions to help Liverpool FC up into third place in the Premier League table and through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
According to the same story, Salah’s fine form has put him on Real Madrid’s shopping list ahead of the summer transfer window.
And Liverpool FC are keen to tie him down to a new contract to ward off interest from other clubs.
Salah will be hoping to help to fire Liverpool FC into the Champions League final when they take on AS Roma in the return leg of their semi-final clash next week.
