The 21-year-old Egypt winger has been touted as a possible target for the Reds ahead of the summer transfer window in a move which would see him link up with compatriot Mohamed Salah on Merseyside.
The attacker has scored two goals in 20 Premier League appearances for Stoke City so far this season, although he has only started 10 of those top flight games.
He will be hoping to earn a place in the Egypt squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia and he certainly has not given the impression that he is prepared to stay at Stoke City beyond the summer.
Ramadan is quoted as saying by the Stoke Sentinel: “I hope to be able to perform well for Stoke, so I can be with Egypt at the World Cup.
“I hope we do well at the World Cup – and then I can start thinking about leaving the club.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their crunch Merseyside derby showdown against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds head into the game looking to claim the three points and keep their bid for a top-four finish in the Premier League on track.
The Merseyside outfit are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window gives Jurgen Klopp the chance to bolster his squad.
