The Egypt international had to be substituted in the second half of the Reds’ 3-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg of their European clash at Anfield last week.
Salah missed Liverpool FC’s goalless draw with Everton on Saturday lunchtime due to the injury but he has been working on his fitness levels at the Reds’ Melwood training base in recent days.
And Mane seems to think that the 25-year-old, who has been in sensational form this season, could be set to start for the Reds in the return leg at The Etihad on Tuesday night.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Mane said: “Bobby [Firmino] was on the bench [against Everton] and Mo had a little [issue] with his groin but I think everything is fine.
“We have the players to cope with that – we are a strong team, we are Liverpool. We’re going to try to do our best and qualify for the next round.”
Salah has been one of European football’s top performers this season since his move to Anfield from AS Roma in the summer transfer window last year.
The Egypt international has scored a staggering 29 goals in 31 Premier League games for Jurgen Klopp’s men to help them up into third place in the table.
Liverpool FC fans will be hoping to see Salah back in action when the Reds take on Manchester City on Tuesday night.
