Liverpool FC to hand 19-year-old big new contract – report
Liverpool FC are set to hand Alexander-Arnold a new and improved contract, according to reports
Liverpool FC are set to hand Trent Alexander-Arnold a new and improved contract following his impressive form this season, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Reds are looking to give the 19-year-old a quick-fire contract upgrade following his brilliant form for the Reds.
Alexander-Arnold was once again in top form on Saturday as he was named as the man of the match in Liverpool FC’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.
The teenager has been a regular fixture in the first team at Anfield this term and has scored two goals and made two assists in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The same report says that talks are expected to take place this summer as the Reds look to reward the full-back for his strong form this season.
The story also claims that Alexander-Arnold is “certain” to be included the England squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
The teenager recently committed his long-term future to Liverpool FC when he signed a new contract last summer.
But the Reds are thought to want to reward Alexander-Arnold following his strong performances throughout the season.
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action next weekend with a trip to West Bromwich Albion.
