Virgil van Dijk has insisted that he is feeling settled and well at Liverpool FC after completing his move to Anfield from Southampton in the January transfer window.

Van Dijk was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool FC from Southampton in the summer transfer window but the switch failed to materialise as he ended up staying at St Mary’s beyond the summer.

However, Liverpool FC were quick to reignite their interest in signing the Netherlands defender in January and they ended up completing a move to sign him before the window opened.

Van Dijk has been a regular fixture in the first team at Anfield since his switch and he has been earning plenty of praise for his performances for the Reds since his switch.

The 26-year-old defender has made nine Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s men to help the Reds up into third place in the table.

And the defender has lifted the lid on how he has been settling into life at Anfield since his move.

Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Van Dijk said: “Moving house and moving city, there has been a lot of emotions going on.

“It has been amazing and obviously winning games helps a lot with settling. Everything that happened has been fantastic.”

The defender will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Bournemouth at Anfield.
