French newspaper L’Equipe is reporting that the Merseyside outfit have drawn up a deal for the Belgian midfielder, whose current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of this season.
Fellaini’s future has been a constant source of speculation recently as he approaches the end of his current deal at Old Trafford.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are likely to be on the lookout for midfield reinforcements this summer, with the Reds seemingly set to lose Emre Can on a free transfer at the end of the season.
And the same report says that the Reds are now keen to sign the 30-year-old Manchester United midfielder to strengthen their options ahead of next season.
Liverpool FC are said to have drawn up a three-year contract for the Belgian, but they are set to face competition from elsewhere for his signature.
Fellaini has scored three goals in 13 Premier League games for Jose Mourinho’s men so far this season but he has only started three times in the top flight for the Red Devils.
His last appearance for Manchester United came when he was a late substitute during the FA Cup win over Brighton last month.
