Jurgen Klopp won’t swap Liverpool FC for Bayern Munich given the Anfield outifit’s progress, ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno has claimed.

The Reds boss was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor in October 2015 following his successful stint in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool FC lost to Manchester City and Sevilla in the League Cup and Europa League finals in 2015.

Klopp led the Reds to a fourth-placed finish last term to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence.

Liverpool FC have continued to make progress this term and the Reds are in third place in the table.

The Merseyside outfit will take on Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.

Klopp was linked with the Bayern Munich post in recent days with Jupp Heynckes set to depart at the end of the season.

However, ESPN FC pundit Moreno rubbished the suggestion that Klopp could take over the Bayern Munich post.

“It makes no sense,” Moreno told ESPN FC. “The way Liverpool are playing now it looks like they’ve turned a corner.

“Why would they go anywhere else? I think Liverpool and Klopp will stay together for a while.”

Liverpool FC are two points behind second placed Manchester United in the Premier League table.

The Reds were 5-0 winners against FC Porto in the Champions League round of 16 earlier this month.
