The France international has endured an inconsistent second season at Old Trafford following his £89m move to Manchester United from Serie A giants Juventus in August 2016.
Pogba won the Europa League and the League Cup in his first campaign back at Manchester United but the 25-year-old failed to rekindle his electric Juventus form at Old Trafford.
The French star made a promising start to the current season with two goals and two assists in his opening four Premier League games before he was ruled out for two months with a hamstring problem.
Pogba returned to the Manchester United side in November but struggled as part of a midfield pair alongside summer Nenmanja Matic to prompt criticism of Mourinho’s marquee signing.
The Manchester United boss hasn’t been afraid to criticise the France international to fuel speculation surrounding his long-term future at the Old Trafford outfit.
Pogba scored twice to help Manchester United come from 2-0 down to rescue a 3-2 victory over Manchester City in the derby earlier this month before a disappointing performance in a 1-0 loss to West Brom.
Former Manchester United defender Neville is running out of patience with Pogba.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “Yes but enough is enough! He’s playing at walking pace! He can do so much more…”
