Jose Mourinho has once again insisted that David De Gea will not be sold by Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The Spanish shot-stopper is widely regarded as one of world football’s top goalkeepers and he has been earning huge amounts of praise for his top form this term.

De Gea has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and he came close to signing for the La Liga outfit back in 2015 before the move fell through at the final hour.

There has inevitably been fresh speculation suggesting that De Gea could be set for a move away from Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.

However, Mourinho has once again moved to pour cold water on the chances of the goalkeeper leaving Manchester United this year.

Asked whether De Gea could leave Old Trafford this summer, Mourinho told a news conference on Friday: “No chance.”

Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch home Premier League clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
