The Red Devils have struggled to produce consistent form in the Premier League for much of the season but they have started to find better performances in recent weeks.
Manchester United came from two goals down to secure a brilliant 3-2 win over Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday afternoon to put the Citizens’ title celebrations on hold.
Pogba scored twice in the second half to spark the comeback, before Chris Smalling netted the eventual winner for Jose Mourinho’s men
The result left Manchester United in second place in the Premier League table and 13 points behind City with six games left to play this term.
And Pogba says that the Red Devils are firmly focused on finishing in second place in the table this term and also winning the FA Cup.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Saturday, Pogba said: “We have to think about the second place, and the FA Cup, that is coming.
“That is why we play, to come back better than the season before and not make the mistakes that we have done.”
Manchester United will take on Tottenham Hotspur in their FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley on Saturday 21 April.
The Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge last season.
