The French midfielder was the star of the show last weekend as he scored two second-half goals to inspire Manchester United to a brilliant 3-2 comeback win over Manchester City at The Etihad.
Pogba has regularly been criticised for his failure to produce consistent performances for Manchester United this season and he has found himself in and out of the starting line-up under Jose Mourinho.
The former Juventus star will now be hoping to build on his effective performance for the Red Devils on Saturday between now and the end of the season as he looks to help Mourinho’s men end the campaign on a high.
And former Manchester United star Neville wants to see more consistency from the France international for the rest of the season.
Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville said: “At half-time, I could see it getting quite messy for Pogba. He came out and scored two goals.
“Pogba needed it. He needed it more than ever. There were big questions being asked before, during and after game.
“Now people will want to see what he can do moving forward.”
Pogba will be expecting to line up for Manchester United when the Red Devils host West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford in their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils are currently in second place in the Premier League table as they chase a top four finish this season.
