Manchester United will have to fend off interest from Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in Anthony Martial this summer, according to a report in England.

The Independent is reporting that Martial’s future at Old Trafford remains in doubt following a frustrating second season under Portuguese head coach Jose Mourinho.

The same article states that Manchester United would prefer to keep the France international at Old Trafford and Martial would prefer to remain at the 20-time English champions.

However, the English media outlet suggests that Mourinho will look to further improve his attacking options at the end of the season to further congest Martial’s route to the starting XI.

Manchester United signed Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal in the January transfer window to provide Martial with more competition for a first-team place.

According the same article, Juventus have been warned that Martial will cost around £60m and the Serie A giants will have to see off competition from Atletico and PSG.

Martial has scored 11 times and has made seven assists in 40 appearances in all competitions this term, although the France forward has only started 24 times.

Manchester United signed Martial in a £36m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
