Man United plan summer bid to sign Tottenham man – report
Manchester United are still planning a move to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, say reports
Manchester United are lining up a summer transfer bid to try and sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are still keen on a move to bring the England international to Old Trafford after having been heavily linked with a bid to sign him last year.
The same report says that Spurs currently rate Rose at around £50m as Manchester United continue to be linked with a move to sign him.
The story also claims that Tottenham would consider a move to sign Ryan Bertrand from Southampton this summer, if indeed they do end up selling Rose to the Red Devils.
The 27-year-old Rose has found his first-team opportunities at Tottenham Hotspur to be limited this season and he has only made seven appearances in the top flight.
Manchester United, who host West Brom on Sunday, are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
The Red Devils will be aiming to put together a team capable of challenging Manchester City’s dominance in the Premier League next season.
