The Wales international has been regularly touted as a potential target to sign for the 20-time English champions.
Bale was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer ahead of their clash against Real Madrid in the Champions Cup in California.
Mourinho went to great lengths to rule out a potential swoop to sign Bale, claiming the Welshman had no desire to leave Real Madrid.
However, Bale has found his first-team opportunities limited under Zinedine Zidane this term given competition from Marcos Asensio and Isco.
The 28-year-old’s agent has also ruled out a potential move but transfer speculation continues to persist surrounding Bale.
Independent reporter Delaney revealed that Manchester United no longer have an interest in the Wales international.
“I do wonder whether they will find a buyer at a price they like,” Delaney told the Second Captains podcast.
“I’ve heard Man United don’t have the interest. That ship has sailed.”
Bale is one of three players to have won both the PFA player and young player of the year awards in the same season.
The winger moved to Real Madrid in what was a then world record £85m deal from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
