Craig Bellamy has warned Manchester United that there will be a queue of top clubs to sign Marcus Rashford if the striker opts to leave.

The 20-year-old is reported to be weighing up his future at Old Trafford following another frustrating season under Jose Mourinho.

Rashford burst onto the scene with goals in his Europa League and Premier League debut under Louis van Gaal in 2016.

However, the Dutchman’s successor Mourinho has used the England international sparingly over the past 18 months.

Indeed, Rashford has only started 14 times in the Premier League this season, making a further 15 appearances from the bench.

Reports in the British media this week suggested that Rashford could leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Former Manchester City striker Bellamy believes Rashford would be a player in demand if he decides to force through a summer transfer.

“If he was available, there would be a queue of top clubs to sign him,” Bellamy told Sky Sports. “He is going to be a top player.”

Rashford scored eight times in 18 games in the 2015-16 season under Van Gaal to earn an exciting reputation.

Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table and in contention to finish as runners up behind Manchester City.
