Ian Wright believes Manchester United are more likely to sell Anthony Martial rather than Marcus Rashford in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils duo have endured frustrating 2017-18 seasons under Jose Mourinho as the pair continue to struggle to hold down a regular starting spot.

Indeed, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has used both of the attacking talents sparingly despite their big reputations.

The Portuguese head coach has developed a preference for hardworking wingers such as Willian rather than flair attackers such as Martial or Rashford.

The France international has been regularly linked with a potential move away from Manchester United since Mourinho took over the reins in 2016.

Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with potential swoops for the 22-year-old.

Rashford, meanwhile, has been linked with a possible exit this summer despite coming through the club’s youth ranks.

Former Arsenal striker Wright suggested that Martial is more likely than Rashford to leave in thd summer.

“He has almost fallen off a cliff with Mourinho and if he had to let one of them [Martial or Rashford] go, it would probably be Martial,” Wright told Sky Sports.

Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table but 13 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City.

The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.
