Jose Mourinho is willing to let Anthony Martial leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Italy.

Italian media outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News, is reporting that Mourinho is willing to let Martial leave the Old Trafford club when the transfer window opens in the summer.

And according to the same story, Juventus, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are all likely to battle it out for Martial’s signature this summer.

The same article says that Juventus are leading the race for the 22-year-old striker’s signature but they are set to face heavy competition from a number of top clubs.

Martial has found his playing time at Old Trafford to be limited this season and he faces further competition for a spot in the starting line-up following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January.

The France international has only started 17 of Manchester United’s 34 Premier League games this season under Mourinho.

According to the same article, his lack of starting chances has prompted Martial to consider a move away from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are preparing to host Arsenal in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
