Sadio Mane believes Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah is able to make the difference in tight games.

The Senegal international helped the Reds to fight back from 1-0 down to secure a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Mane finished at the near post to level the Premier League clash before Salah netted his 29th Premier League goal of the season.

The Egypt international has netted 37 times in all competitions this term since his £39m move from AS Roma in the summer transfer window.

Salah is one of the leading contenders to win the PFA player of the year award ahead of Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

Liverpool FC forward Mane raved about Salah’s ability to swing tight games in the Merseyside outift’s favour.

“Mo can make the difference in tight games,” Mane told Liverpool FC’s website.

“He’s a great player and he helps us to win games. He showed his quality. Everybody is happy to have Mo in the team.

“We are going to help him to score even more goals for us. We want to give him more assists.”

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League.

The Reds are on course to secure successive top-four finishes under Jurgen Klopp for the first time since 2009.

The Merseyside outfit signed Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk from Premier League rivals Southampton in the January transfer window.
