Michael Owen is confident Tottenham Hotspur will make light work of their trip to Stoke City on Saturday.

Spurs will make the journey to the Bet365 Stadium in search of a fifth successive Premier League win to cement their top-four claim.

Tottenham ended a 28-year winless run at Stamford Bridge last weekend thanks to a 3-1 victory over defending champions Chelsea FC.

Spurs have beaten Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Bournemouth and Chelsea FC in the current campaign.

Stoke lost 3-0 to Arsenal at The Emirates last weekend and the Potters have only collected three points from their last six Premier League outings.

The Potters are in 19th place and three points adrift of safety ahead of their home clash against Tottenham.

Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Tottenham to ease to a comfortable win against Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium this weekend.

“Stoke are fighting for their Premier League lives and are sure to make life difficult for Spurs but the latter showed their class when they came from a goal down at Stamford Bridge on Sunday,” Owen told BetVictor.

“Tottenham have a good record in the Potteries with six wins in the history of the PL and remain the only unbeaten side in the league in 2018 with ten wins and three draws.

“Mauricio Pochettino’s men may need time to break down Paul Lambert’s side but I expect their superior class to tell in the second half.”

Tottenham have qualified for the Champions League in their last two seasons.

Spurs lost 4-3 to Serie A giants Juventus in the Champions League round of 16 last month.

The north London side can still win silverware if Spurs manage to beat Manchester United and reach the FA Cup final.

Tottenham are in fourth place and eight points ahead of Chelsea FC.
