The French striker has been settling into life at The Emirates after having signed for the Gunners from French side Lyon in the summer transfer window last yer.
The forward missed a portion of the season after having to undergo a knee operation but he has looked strong in recent weeks following his return to action.
Lacazette has scored 16 goals and made three assists in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season and he will be hoping to improve upon those figures next season.
And former Arsenal star Pires is tipping the 26-year-old to be even better when he steps his game up next season in his second campaign at the north London club.
Speaking in an interview with bwin, ex-midfielder Pires said: “I think Lacazette has had a very good first season at Arsenal.
“He is a very hungry striker who has tried to make a difference in the big games.
“I think he works very hard at his game and he now has a lot of confidence. Lacazette will be even better and score more goals in the Premier League next year.”
Arsenal are currently gearing up for their final home game under Arsene Wenger when they prepare to welcome Burnley to The Emirates on Sunday afternoon the Premier League.
The Gunners are set to have to settle for another season without Champions League football after they were beaten by Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi-finals last week.
