Arsenal are set to hold talks with Thierry Henry about the vacant managerial position at the club early next week, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Gunners are planning to hold talks with club legend Henry about the position as they continue their search for a new boss.
Arsenal are on the lookout for a new manager after Arsene Wenger ended his 22-year spell in charge of the north London club at the end of the season.
The Gunners are now considering their options as they look to bring in a successor to the Frenchman at The Emirates ahead of next season.
According to the same story, Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta is the leading candidate to take over at The Emirates, and the Gunners reportedly held talks with the former midfielder on Thursday.
The same report says that Arsenal are hoping to have a new manager appointed and in place before the start of the World Cup in Russia on 14 June.
Arsenal ended the season with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield as they slumped to a sixth placed finish in the Premier League to leave them out of the Champions League for the second campaign running.
