Unai Emery has agreed to work under Arsenal’s recruitment structure, meaning that he won’t have a big say on transfer dealings, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Emery is ready to work under the club’s new structure after agreeing to take over as Arsenal’s new manager following days of speculation linking him with the vacant managerial job at The Emirates.

According to the same story, Arsenal are set to have a limited transfer budget of just £50m to spend on new recruits this summer after having splashed the cash in recent windows.

Emery is used to working under similar transfer structures at both Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal have been on the lookout for a new boss in recent days after Arsene Wenger ended his 22-year reign in charge of the club at the end of the season.

Emery left PSG at the end of the season and was unveiled as Arsenal’s new manager on Wednesday at a news conference at The Emirates.

Arsenal head into next season after having missed out on Champions League qualification for the second season running.

The Gunners ended the campaign without a trophy as they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table in Wenger’s final campaign in charge at The Emirates.
